With the Megabus codes it’s very difficult to get seats in my experience. You have to be VERY flexible with your dates, and keep trying. I managed to go from Toronto to New York City for $12.50 return just earlier this month. I went for 2 days, but then got stranded due to a snow storm so I got an extra day out of it. This was my third time going to NYC on Megabus. Keep checking for codes folks. They do work! you just have to be patient, and flexible.

most of the getaway tickets are already taken so there are very view left. the deal started a while ago and when it first started I bought 4 free tickets (only 50 cents for the reservation fee). but overall the getaway sale is over.

Ya. The promo codes on here are expired. I’ve searched all over the internet and none of the codes posted work right now because there is no promo going on right now. The best place to get the codes when a promo is going on is on the megabus.com webpage. They post them right there. The codes aren’t a secret or anything. I got a trip from KC to Chicago a few months back for 50 cents round trip. I used the code that was posted on the megabus.com website.
